The residential care home is placed at Principes de España Avenue, on a narrow plot of land that hinders the design of the building; this is the reason for its longitudinal shape.  Around a series of courtyards and bridges the dwellings are organised. These courtyards and bridges generate a walk on the ground floor, full of lights and shadows. This walk is extended towards the outside where it forms a garden on the northern area.

There is a clear interaction among outside-inside. The idea of a dark corridor is rejected to firmly defend the common spaces as meeting points for the residents.

On the ground floor are placed the service facilities. The infirmary is placed to the south, with a direct access from the avenue. The management office along with the leisure facilities and the dining room are connected to the garden and to the main entrance. The main access takes place on the centre of the building, balancing the inner communication.
