Since the beginning, we were clear about the premises to be taken into account to develop this project:
- The limited plot of land with 3,017m² resulting from the former building demolition. Usually, this kind of building requires 8,000m².

- Water and electric servitude imposed by the existing dividing walls.
- The orientation of the plot with the façade of the main building facing south.
- The programme impositions, along with the common impositions of this kind of school.
Regarding to the residential aspect, a response to the climatic rigour and to the social behaviour in this specific area is aimed.On the other hand, the transformation of the Mudejar house patio into a XX century neighbours’ courtyard cannot be ignored, since the guidelines to generate this volume have been given by this transformation.
Formerly, the neighbour’s courtyards were a source of social relationship. This was due not only for the shared used of the installations but mostly for the meeting point nature of the courtyard and corridors with a high relationship and circulation importance
