In this project, the plot of the school is generated around a single floor centralaxis which comprises the complementary usages, administration offices, common servicesand the library. This axis acts as a hinge which links the nursery single floor area with the two floor primary area.

On the one hand, the nursery piece is organised around an entrance porch. The external nursery spaces are placed next to the classroom’s inner spaces, according to the sequence external classrooms–classrooms– porch– courtyard–playground. In order to obtain an optimal functioning of this scheme, the classrooms are accessed from the porch, instead of using the inner transit areas.

On the other hand, the gym and changing rooms are connected to the primary piece through the primary porch, creating a covered external transition area between the educative space and the playground and sports court.
