The police station looks like a rock of aged bronze whose perimeter is engraved and broken to introduce natural light and ventilation in the rooms inside. The piece presents itself as archaeological remains of the city. The observer might think of it as an Eduardo Chillida’s work from the series ‘Vacio Enjaulado’.

The access of police officers and government employees is located on the semi-basement, from the Avenue. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the building the public access is placed on the ground floor, through a gardened area. The building is an extension of the public space thanks to a pool that plays a dual role:

- First, the pool imposes a limit. Not being a barrier, it defines a clear security area at this front and, moreover, gives a remote perspective from the building to enhance its uniqueness.

- Second, the pool is a powerful thermal regulator and a humidity generator that will refresh the indoors during the summer.
